AIDS Services for the Monadnock Region (ASMR), founded in 1989, is a non-profit organization commited to serving people living with HIV/AIDS in Cheshire County, southern Sullivan County and western Hillsborough County. We offer case management, free, anonymous HIV testing in a confidential setting, educational programs, HIV+ speakers and 200+ volumes in our lending library.

Local AIDS Activist Visits Washington, Congressman Hodes and Shea-Poter

Monday 21 April 2008 at 12:00 am (Gilsum, NH) Representing AIDS Services for the Monadnock Region in Gilsum, NH and people everywhere living with HIV/AIDS, Leanne Jennison traveled to the nation's capital on March 20 to deliver over 200 signatures she collected in support of full funding for the Ryan White Act.  Ryan White funds support medication and other health needs for people living with HIV/AIDS.  Leanne met with Lisa Levine of Congressman Hodes' office, and Robert Moller of Congresswoman Shea-Porter's office.  She was accompanied by her 11-year-old daughter, Clara.
